Four clocks, one floor
Machines start the gaming day: from Monday through Thursday the slots run 9:30 a.m. to 3 a.m. The 16 VLTs in their own salon also start at 9:30 a.m. from Sunday through Thursday and stop at 3 a.m. On Friday and Saturday the salon runs from 10 a.m. to 4 a.m.
Tables wait until the afternoon. The pit opens at 2 p.m. every day. It closes at 1 a.m. on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday nights, and at 2 a.m. on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights.
Poker cash games keep the same hours as the pit. They start at 2 p.m. daily, with a posted close of 1 a.m. from Sunday to Wednesday and 2 a.m. from Thursday to Saturday. Apart from the weekend slot run, game zones close between 1 a.m. and 4 a.m., Mountain time.
Friday to Monday
The Friday to Monday run
On Friday the slots start at 9 a.m. and do not close again until 3 a.m. on Monday. That run covers Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights.
Nothing else on the floor follows it. The pit and the poker room shut at 2 a.m. on Friday and Saturday nights, and at 1 a.m. on Sunday night. The VLT salon stops at 4 a.m. on Friday and Saturday, then at 3 a.m. on Sunday.
Hours left unposted
Holiday hours are not published for any zone of the floor. For a statutory holiday, the casino line is 403-342-5825. Table minimums and a dress code are not published either. The poker room line, 403-342-5825 extension 3, takes questions about late play, seats and games. The survey desk does not guess at them.
Eating on the floor
In the middle of the floor, the Casino Restaurant cooks Western and Asian food, starting at 9 a.m. every day. From Sunday through Thursday it closes at 11 p.m., and on Friday and Saturday at 2 a.m. Bookings go through 403-309-1660. Guests under 18 cannot go onto the casino floor, and minors are not served at the restaurant.
Drinks and light snacks are served at the VLT Lounge, beside the video lottery terminals, every day from 10 a.m. until midnight. That is a shorter day than VLT play itself, which runs to 3 a.m. or 4 a.m.
